Cacti, not too spiney, but very very happy. I am working on a venus fly trap next! It would be the perfect plant for someone with a brown thumb (ahem…me) I killed bamboo! Beautiful simple keep in water bamboo. My turned moldy! The only thing I have ever been good at is growing lima beans. We had a little jar of them in the kitchen window last spring. They were fun to watch, and only needed a little water and a cotton ball!

Tonight I am making un-chicken salad with tempeh. I am very much addicted to the site The Post Punk Kitchen I plan to go looking for the new cookbook this week (thanks Alison!) On the forums I found information for another book The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook: Delicious Dairy-Free Cheeses and Classic “Uncheese” Dishes . While I do eat cheese, I still want to check the book out and see if I can’t reduce a little of the cheese intake in this house (we are cheese freaks) I already always use tofu + spices in place of ricotta in our lasanga. You would never even know the difference!
