Ode to Cabbage

title or description

Oh dear sweet cabbage I know I shunned you once before. I first smelled you in sauerkraut when I was very young. I thought you were repulsive…oh I had much to learn.
When I first tasted your deliciosness in spring rolls I denied you, instead claiming it must be lettuce to be so tasty. Oh cabbage, sweet cabbage….forgive my silliness!

So small it fits in the palm of my hand!

p.s. I know it looks a little more like lettuce (the green-ness and all) But I wanted to make cabbage, and sometimes when its late at night and you want to sew something…you use what you have :)

    So CUTE!
I definitely thought cabbage when I saw it. Then I showed it to my mom and she said cabbage, too. I think the way the leaves stick out is more like cabbage. Lettuce is a lot more compact.

Okay, I explained to my daughter about the middle child cake layer and I think she gets it. However, by her rational the cabbage should be frowning because unlike the cake, he is made of cabbage.
However, she made that high pitched ‘awww’ sound when she saw him.
