strawberry feilds forever

Today was strawberry picking at Baugher’s Orchard. Heather and Katie came over and we headed over to pick a peck or two. Then Heather headed home to start making more strawberry jam (a tasty new hobby of hers) and Katie and I sewed hexes, made strawberry shortcake, drank iced coffees, and watched The Office….I know we are so predictable, right?

That sounds awesome! I got to help a friend out with her strawberries, I made strawberry cake, but I really want to try to make Jam this year.

How fun! We’ve got to take Wesley strawberry picking. I kept saying that last year, but we never got to it.

Sewing, delicious treats, and The Office sounds like a perfect time for me! That kind of predictable works for me!

Mmmm…we have picked three little strawberries out of our own garden. I can’t wait until the plants are more established and start to spread and we get more in a few years! I just might have to get my fix at a local farm this year…yum!
