I have been making a couple little doll brooches every now and again. I made this pumpkin-head one to wear on Thanksgiving. I didn’t want to do a turkey and had found some mini corn cobs that were going to go with it, but they are plastic and kept falling off (even with a few different glues) so I went with little orange flowers instead. The pumpkin was a mini papery pumpkin to which I added a face and glued on a little nose.

I made the one underneath for St. Lucia’s Day. I love the whole idea of the crown of candles, so lovely. Such fun to make too.

Lastly is a photo of the Christmas sweater I had talked about before. We are planning a crazy Christmas sweater party. Lower key then our Halloween party which kept our house super crowded…but hopefully just as fun. There is going to be gingerbread house decorating, cookie swapping, Christmas carols, egg nog, and of course crazy Christmas sweater wearing.
