paper dolls

A few days ago I was looking online for some ideas for vintage-inspired Halloween decorations. I then stumbled upon a person who was selling a print-out of the vintage Betsy McCall paper dolls. Specifically the Halloween one with the witch face. I loved it so so much, but I was sure some great person out there in internet-land had surely scanned the paper dolls for free printing. Well yes, some one did!! Over at The Bleu Door you can not only find the Halloween pdf, but scans from 1950-1990. Amazing!!

I printed out all the Halloween related ones. The images are so so good. I have to say though I am partial to the 1953’s Betsy…I also like the 1955 version Betsy McCall meets a witch.
