I am back in town after two crazy back to back trips (lots more on that soon) This is the last weekend before B goes back to school on Monday and its jam-packed with commitments, so we are trying to make sure we have the pencils sharpened, and all the supplies purchased.
Before I left for Chicago I had made this fabric design for Spoonflower’s new contest, and I finally got a chance to sew it up today. I wanted to share as I know there are a lot of people already back in school or heading there soon. You can purchase it on a fat quarter here.

Adorable! This month’s charity project at Hopeful Threads was to make pencil pouches for the kids at Pine Ridge Reservation.

I wish the spoonflower contest has been earlier in the month. I could have added a few of them to my charity box. (hmm, might have to get one of yours for myself as a reward for getting my charity box done a solid week before the deadline).
