The Old Sled Works

Earlier this month I talked about a little adventure we took into Pennsylvania. One of our stops was a place in Duncannon PA Called The Old Sled Works. It’s a antique shop, a vintage arcade, a soda shop, and more! They have a little yarn store tucked inside, an area that sells handmade crafts, and a little mini museum about the Sled Works, it was a lot of fun!

Our favorite area was clearly the working arcade. Not only was it fun to play the games, there was so many beautiful old graphics and logos to look at.
We found some treasure to bring home from the antique part. Not this vintage doll sized changing table, but it was too cute not to take a photo.

We had such a good time that I cannot wait to go back. The only disappointment was the soda shop portion was closed. When I asked about it out front they said it’s only open on weekends, but just a head’s up, a friend of mine went on a Saturday at 4:10pm and the soda shop was closed. They told her at the front that is closes at 4 even though the store is open later. So if your going for ice cream (and you should be-look how freaking cute that area is!!) then maybe give them a call to make sure that part will be open. Their website doesn’t list anything about the soda shop having different hours, so a call will be the best bet. Otherwise, I highly recommend it as a stop if you’re going to be anywhere in the area.
