dinner outside

I love eating outside, but sometimes it is such a pain to carry everything out and then back in…..Until I bought
this wonderfully useful tray! Bring on the warm weather…alfresco. I also have a soft spot for vintage flat sheets, they make lovely tablecloths and are so easy to just toss in the wash.

Today we went to check out the farmers market which opened for the season today. There was not too many veggies yet, since it is still early..but we did get some shelling peas. We came near the end of the day too so lots might of sold out. I got a photo of Fulton Farm’s sign since #1 its cute, and #2 that is who our CSA share is through.
I’ve actually been working on some little radishes of my own. They are part of a larger veggie scene that I am working on for an upcoming show. I also made a little gnome last night.
I’m finishing up some new plush which might be considered “manly” haha, good for Father’s Day perhaps? I am planning to do a big shop update on Tuesday of the coming week.
lewd, screwed, and tattooed

Yesterday I went with Thomas into Frederick so I could get tattooed. Why we have not been doing this the whole school year, no idea….but wish he had though of it earlier :)
As I mentioned before
Classic Electric Tattoo moved to a bigger building. I love the new shop, they did such a good job getting in there and hanging stuff up that it doesn’t look like a “new shop” there is stuff on the walls everywhere. You can see Tom’s room above, and then a peek into the drawing room. I love all the tracing papers on the wall. It is fun to look through and see what people have picked to get tattooed on them forever.
I got a new tattoo on my leg (which is what Tom is doing in the photo) and my right foot tattooed. Tom is such a good sport letting me take all these photos of him :) Now today I am going on a field trip with the first grade, should be fun!

I made my little one a pair of pajamas/lounge wear out of a
old polo shirt I found for .25 cents. Please excuse the terrible “before” photo, I was about to cut the shirt up when I realized I should probably take a photo of it first, and all I had around was my laptop.
I used this
tutorial as guidance for the pants, which I made from the sleeves and a section of the shirt. In my case the whole sleeve was used.
And I
used this tutorial for making the shirt. I was running real low on fabric when it came to the sleeves, so I feel like they are a little on the short side. I might take the sleeves off and turn it into a tank top instead.
B seems to like it all, he put everything on right away…he is wearing them outside for dinner in these photos :) Oh and a little pea pod boat for your enjoyment.
