I can only really post gifts over here for the kids and young ones in my life. Most of the adults I know read my blog so those handmade gifts will all have to wait until after Christmas.
There are made for easy drawing while traveling. One is for my youngest son and one for my nephew. I love and have been hoarding this green alligator fabric. I got it a few years ago on Etsy and have used it very sparingly. I made patches for the elbows of a coat I own, a patch for my son’s pants and a small zippered bag for myself. I decided it was time to use the rest of it up. These are two different sizes because of the shape of the fabric I had left, but they both work the same way. They both unzip to lay flat. One half has small slots for colored pencils and the other side has a larger pocket to hold a small notebook (which I still need to make).
I don’t have a pattern I just used the sizes to determine the zipper size and then used my knowledge from sewing zippers to figure out how the zippers would go in. I left a hole to turn them right side out at the bottom of the notebook pocket. As in I sewed the measuring tape fabric in with the zipper but left a small space of the black polka dot (where it would be unseen and easy to hand sew closed later) loose. I hope that makes sense.
These are super cute~
I made these but I divided the egg whites into
2 bowls, added red dye to one the made the tops
and added white dots from the other bowl.
I made the stems and then baked. They turned out
great! Then I used regular chocolate chips….
*did not have white* and I think that it just
looks like the gills of the mushrooms because
it is red you dont notice. These are “Super” cute!
Mario would love them!
Rane and kids home becasue of snow!

Too cute. I made some pencil rolls for Christmas, but I’m liking this idea much better (easy for little hands)
Was the inside fabric or real tape measures? Whatever it is was cute. The gator fabric reminds me of the 80′s and my Izod :P
I *love* the alligator fabric! It is too adorable. I know the kids will love the pencil/notebook case. Actually, I know a lot of adults who would love them, too. :)
