Giveaway!
Wednesday April 15th 2009, 9:55 am

It is time for another giveaway! This time I am giving away 9 small bundles of fabric. Each bundle will have two designs. I have already packed them away in envelopes, so what you get is a surprise. They will be two different designs from the fabric I designed and had printed with Spoonflower. You can see more of the fabrics here.

These fabrics would be good for quilting (maybe english paper piecing?), making a small bag, using with other fabrics to cover a pillow, etc.

Entry is open to anyone (overseas too) Just leave me a comment on this post saying how you might use the fabric (one comment per person please) and I will use the random number generator on Sunday April 19th to pick the 9 winners! I will be selling quarter yards of the fabrics in my shop starting on the 1st of May.

If I win, I would like to make a small pouch!

Comment by Tracy 04.15.09 @ 9:59 am

I’d like to use them to embellish the curtains in my new bedroom. Or make cute little pouches.

Comment by Tiffany 04.15.09 @ 10:01 am

I guess I would make a little purse out of the fabric. I love little purse to carry things around with me. Maybe I could use it for a cover for my lovely brandnew ipod as well.

^-^Kate

Comment by Kate 04.15.09 @ 10:04 am

Comment by Jess 04.15.09 @ 10:09 am

I’m making a small quilt for my cousin’s new baby and I would LOVE to be able to use some of your fabric in it! Failing that perhaps just a nice bag for myself!

Comment by Gemma 04.15.09 @ 10:09 am

Comment by YuLian 04.15.09 @ 10:10 am

Comment by Angie Palin 04.15.09 @ 10:10 am

Cool! I love the cuckoo clock patterns! I recently moved house and needed something to cheer the walls up, so I took some old abandoned canvasses I had lying about and stretched different bits of fabric over them. It worked a treat despite it being very simple.

Comment by Orjana 04.15.09 @ 10:13 am

Oooh how exciting! I would use it to make new pouches to hold the various different things in my bag away from each other. Keys away from camera etc. I have been meaning to do this for ages :)

Comment by alice 04.15.09 @ 10:13 am

I’d probably make a small bag with what I won, since that’s what I seem to be doing a lot of lately. I’m planning on making a blanket for my son sometime soon though, so maybe I could incorporate it into that!

Comment by Laurel 04.15.09 @ 10:18 am

To be perfectly honest, I would most likely keep the fabric near my desk and just pet it a lot.

Comment by Annika 04.15.09 @ 10:24 am

I’m working on a paper pieced quilt and these would make a perfect addition.

I’d like to make some coasters. The designs are so cute, they need to be looked at daily. Have you contacted actual fabric companies? I’m not sure how a person does that. Maybe your agent checks into. Not sure, but these are definitely a nice change from the flower heavy fabrics out there right now. Funky and cool! Good job!

I’m madly in love with the blue clocks fabric :) I’m badly in need of some new wall art, so if I win I will be stretching the fabrics in some little embroidery hoops and hanging them on the wall. Any leftovers will become a patchwork… something.

Comment by Aveen 04.16.09 @ 3:54 pm

I can think of a million things I would like to make out of them, but honestly I would probably horde them for the longest time because they are so neat. I am terrible about things like that.

Cant wait for the shop update!!

Great prints! I have been saving fave t-shirts of my daughter’s since she was 2 (she’s now 9) to make a quilt. Your fabrics would be fabulous additions to that quilt. And since we’re proud owners of your pillow-sized jelly donut, a small jelly donut and a couple of donut holes, adding your fabric to the quilt would make it an extra-special keepsake.

Comment by Carmela 04.16.09 @ 10:44 pm

Hah – I knew there would be lots of comments! I would make several chicken doorstops if the fabric is large enough or some chicken pincushions instead!

I love your designs and i think they would be perfect to make a little patchwork bunny rug or plushies for my baby girl.

I would probably use them for a small pouch for pens and pencil or other art goodies.
Or for little quilt blocks like you made!
I love those!
But.. I might just have to look at them because they are all so pretty!

Ooh…so hard to decide, but that english paper piecing is a great idea! But, I may have to do something that allows me to wear the fabric out and about!
