First off I’d like to say a big huge thank you to everyone who commented! Either on my blog, the Lj feed, or sent me an email introducing themselves! Thanks for all the links to your blogs + shops as well…more goodies for me to look at! I tried to write/comment to everyone and only 2 were returned to me through email (so if you didnt get a response, thats why) I hope I didn’t make anyone feel badly about lurking, there are lots of blogs I check and I am bad myself when it comes to leaving comments, but I am trying to change.
Anyhow, feel free to keep introducing yourselves when you get a chance, I love it! The bear above is for someone on my Lj friends list, I am sure you know who you are. He is not quite done, but I wanted to give her a peek and get her ok.
Today much of our day was spent at a cute little park for my newphew’s ninth birthday. My sister rented out the building for the day for a mere $30. The bathrooms were labelled Roosters + Chicks, the goodie bags looked fantastic (and even included 2 of those crystal growing trees in each) the cake was yummy, the tile was beautiful, and I am completly worn out. How do you teachers spend a day with sometimes 20+ eight and nine years olds is beyond me :) You all have my utmost respect!
The kids and I had lots of fun and got to hang out with lots of our favorite people. Lucky for me the kids are pretty worn out too so it means I get time to work on finishing my last book project tonight! But first the super exciting world of grocery shopping awaits me! Wooo! Could my saturday night be more exciting? No wait theres more, after shopping and making dinner, I plan to sew, and then make one inch buttons. Then when Tom gets home we can pick through the netflixs of Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, or Everything Is Illuminated, make some coffee and smash overselves together under a blanket on the couch. Actually it sounds wonderful!
