evening walks

Things have felt very hectic this past week or so. There was so much to get finished for the update, etc. We still managed to carve out time for very nice evening walks. The weather has been pretty mellow. It gets dark so early that we have to head out shortly after homework is finished and then we usually arrive home to darkness.

The little guy and I spent some time this weekend making hand turkeys together. His brother had gone to spend the night at a friends house, so he and I had a lovely walk in the woods, a dinner date, and then made hand turkeys…quite nice.
