thank you cards..

B was quite creative with his thank-you cards, if not a little morbid ;) He used Sarah’s thumbprint notecard set, which he got for Christmas. He didn’t even complain about making the cards until he got to the “note writing” inside. My oldest son 14 still isn’t thrilled to write thank-you cards, but I think its important, so it is required. I just remind them how happy the gifts made them, and how happy the cards will make the recipient.

long live snail mail goodness.

So glad to see that you have your kids do this…I think so many children today aren’t required to take the time to do them. My rule was this; before you wear it, spend it, you must send a thank you note!
I happened to be in my local Urban Outfitters, and saw one of your cute little doughnut pillows, it brought a smile to my face :)

I used to grumble about writing thank yous as a kid but now as an adult I happily do it on my own, although my mom still reminds me. It’s more fun when you have neat cards.
