topsy turvy

So today was the day the kids went back to school. I had a big list for myself (painting, errands, a sewing list)—Once they were at school I followed Tom to Frederick to help him paint. We were parked and got out of the car just as I got a call from the Elementary school saying there was a problem with the heating and they were closing the school at 10:30am. So back in the car I went and drove the 45 mins back home to pick up B. Even the pick up was crazy and ended up with me standing out in the cold for almost 30 minutes.

I had that bunch of boring errands to run, so when we got home we made a batch of sweet potato muffins to add a little fun to the crazy day. Then it started snowing so we made a dash outside to catch some snowflakes (it ended pretty quickly).

Now to wait and see if the heating system will be fixed in time for school tomorrow…
