Tissue Box Cozy

My parents began their long trip home this morning. The house is really empty now, with the kids back in school, my parents and niece heading home, and Tom back to work. It is always so nice to have a full house, and then it is as equally nice to have a little bit of time home alone too. I’ve had a bit of a cold and have had tissues around quite a bit this past week. I have been really excited to make a cover for them, so when my mushroom fabric from Spoonflower arrived it was perfect timing. I decided to sew up a tissue box cozy using the instructions found here.

I think I will create one more cover for the upstairs bathroom tissues as well. :)

The rest of this afternoon will be spent taking photos for the shop update on Wednesday….lots of goodies to come!
