Thomas has off on Wednesdays now, so if you notice a lack of posts on those days, that explains why. Yesterday we spent the morning measuring and re-measuring all of the artwork that we have purchased this past year at shows + online We decided that we could not buy anything new until we tackled our pile of unframed art.
Then in the evening the Sean + Amanda family came over. We had some pizzas, made ultra tall cupcakes, and played a LONG game of monopoly (that game can really go on and on!) The cupcakes were made using a Wilton King sized pan that we had found while running errands. They even sold extra tall cupcake liners along side it. The liners actually caught my attention at first…but I figured the cupcakes might run all over the oven with out the support of the tall pan.
We filled the cupcakes with cream so they were a little wobbly when we tried to unwrap them. They seemed to be best eaten with a fork, and most definitly over a plate.

Comment by kannan 02.01.07 @ 4:23 pmOh, Monopoly. The worst thing about that game is that it takes forever to lose playing it. You know two hours before the game ends that someone else is going to win and still you keep on playing. I forget every time. A terrible game for sore losers like me :)
