I spent my morning sewing up this Harry Potter doll for my mega-fan eight year old. I have plans still for Ron, Hermoine, Draco, and Haggrid. I made up a pattern for Harry (it is a quick job so I hope you’ll forgive that) It includes the pattern pieces, and some written instructions with a few diagrams. I would say that this is not for a beginner, but yet someone who has sewing experience. Harry’s robe is removable, and I think after making one changing him to make the others will be super easy.
I probably forgot a few things too (like the part where you use the black embroidery thread to stitch the line separating each leg so he looks more like a boy with legs then a boy with a trunk) But my hope is that it will be help enough for anyone trying to make one for their own special Harry fan.

This is so cool! Is there a piece of felt that is supposed to be sewn to the bottom of the pants? It sounds like there might be one according to step 9 but I don’t see one in the pattern. I am trying to visualize how this goes together and I could believe that there might be a piece for the bottom to give it more stability. I am dying to make this for my girls! Any help would be appreciated. :-)
