#1 Please excuse these awful horrid photographs…Sadly with the whole getting dark early, I just cannot seem to get a decent sun-lit photo for the life of me. Actually these two photos were taken long after the sun has set, but I figured I need to just go ahead and post it.

Haha ok…so easy (and yeah maybe slightly creepy) Star Wars dolls. One set for my 4 year old, one set for his 4 year old cousin…both huge Star Wars fans!

So, I was looking online trying to get inspiration for something Star Wars related that I could make B. I came across this totally awesome Chewie Tissue Cozy. Very grand, but not exactly something a 4 year old would have much fun with..so I thought about it, then resized the mask and printed two out. I decided to make simply shaped plain dolls and use iron on paper (you’ll need the kind made for dark t-shirts) to create a set of dolls.

On Star Wars Kids they have a whole set of masks for printing. I resized them all, and picked the ones I thought would work best. The bodies were all cut out without a pattern just a blobby body shape. I then ironed each face onto a bit of felt, cut those out and stitched them to one side of the body. Then I pinned both body sides together (right sides in) and stitched them closed. I left a pretty large opening on each of them, otherwise turning can be a bit of a pain.

Once turned and stuffed, I stitched them all closed. I as sort of going for this vintage plastic face sort of looking doll. Anyhow I think the kids will get a kick out of them…I might also make a much smaller finger puppet version for a friend of ours who has become newly Star Wars addicted!

Oh and I should add I am going to glue googley eyes onto the masks that have blank white circle eyes!
