I am sure by now most of you have heard the buzz about Spoonflower, a company that prints fabric with your designs. It is currently in the beta testing phase and by invitation only, but quite an exciting prospect. I finally sat down to make some fabric yesterday working from some old illustrations of mine.

This dog one might be my favorite (the dogs are going to be small like 1 inch) I ordered 4 different designs to make little pouches with for the crafty shows I talked about yesterday. I have some designs I started that are inspired from my plush but I am not going to allow myself to buy any more fabric until I make all the pouches from the fabric I ordered last night :) I think designing your own fabric could be a slippery slope—oh the possibilities!

I am off today with my mom for maybe our final day of thrift shopping goodness together. We have gone on so many far and wide thrifting adventures together that it won’t be the same once she moves. We are hitting up the PA Dutch countryside and have promised the kids some crazy laser tag afterwards. I’ll be back tomorrow with photos of hopefully some fun stuff!
