Krumpe’s Do-nuts

krumpee

While Pennsylvania has Maple Donuts, if we cross the border into Hagerstown Maryland we can get Krumpe’s Do-nuts. Even though we live in Pennsylvania we are right on the border-making Krumpe’s dangerously close by.
They open at 7pm at night, making it a great place to stop whenever we have out of town guests. They always have a donut of the week, like smore’s or banana spilt. If you are ever in the area, be sure to pick some up! There donut holes are pretty amazing little things too!

  1. Those donuts look amazing! Especially the ones with the rainbow sprinkles and cherry on top. Are those the banana split donuts? Yum!

Jessica, yes! Those were the banana spilt and the donuts were banana flavored!

Mmmm those look so delicious! If you ever travel to Carolina Beach, NC check out Britt’s! They only do glazed doughnuts, but they are incredible.

  5. Heidi Kenney says:

Katie, Oh that sounds great! Ill have to keep that in mind if we ever drive again to South Carolina to visit my parents (as opposed to taking the train)

  6. Heidi Kenney says:

Pamela, they are so good…its dangerous having them so close by :-/

  7. Let’s meet for midnight donuts soon!

  8. Heidi Kenney says:

Lesley, I am adding you to the crafternoon now, it wont let me add you on my phone-its so weird!

  9. Heather says:

There is a Maple Donuts factory right by my house! It always smells like donuts when you drive/walk by there. We have no idea where you can buy them though! There is no Maple Donuts near us that we know of!

  10. Heidi Kenney says:

Heather, Oh thats so crazy! I did check their website and they do offer a frozen/bake at home for fundraisers it seems, and then it looks like some prepackaged pastry too—so maybe it is all the same company!
