Holiday Baking

The last two days have been a flurry of baking + sewing. Not the bad rushy kind either thank goodness! Tonight I am packing up goodie bags to send to work with Tom. I would normally just give them out at the Christmas party but since it is after Christmas this year they are going in now.

This isn’t even everything we baked. We have some cookies to decorate with frosting still. I had a blast making mushroom meringues. They are really good and the tops are held on with white chocolate. I read somewhere that when shopping for white chocolate to look for cocoa butter and I think that is key. I made some double mushroom stems and think I will be making another batch of these before the party on Christmas Eve. I think I also need to make a batch of peppermint swirl cookies like Sarah, they look amazing!
