While I didn’t get a huge variety of items finished in time for the holiday update, I did get lots of each item sewn up-so there is plenty to go around! The shop update is at noon EST today. There are still some items I have in the works that I didn’t get finished in time, so you may see one more holiday update at the end of November.
***Just a note on shipping, the shipping is set up as a flat rate of $7.00 for items over $5 right now, but don’t be afraid. I always refund any extra shipping once your package is packed and the label is printed if I end up being able to ship it first class.
My holiday update will take place on Monday November 18th! I’ll have ornaments, and other plush goodies for the holidays…noon EST, I’ll post a reminder again the day of.
Just a quick reminder that today my new shop
will be open at 2pm EST.
Just to avoid confusion, it is not on Etsy
…I’m giving Big Cartel a try to hopefully save from the large selling fees.
You can find a link for “shop” at the top of my website, and here on this blog entry
. It will show as maintenance mode until 2pm EST.
As soon as I am back from Blythecon (this weekend!) I’ll be sewing and adding even more to the shop. If you have any special requests just leave me a comment here.
Oh and I am trying to get used to the new international rates, I shipped a package to Australia this week and it was $30 yikes! So if you place an international order and it ends up being cheaper to ship I will refund the difference in paypal.
I’ll be opening a brand new shop (here on my website using big cartel) on Wednesday Oct 8th at 2pm EST. I will have another announcement with the link that will post that day, and I hope to keep my shop stocked through the coming holidays as well.
It’s hard to believe it’s already September, though I’m not complaining as I love the Fall. I’ve got another busy month ahead of me with Crafty Bastards
creeping up (Sept 28th & 29th), three art shows, my trip to Maine, and a big holiday project in the work.
Here is one full tote for Crafty Bastard’s that I’ve finished so far, but I’ve also got Spoonflower fabric ordered, and I’ll be bringing Halloween bunting kits. Now if I can just fill up three or four more totes with sewing work I will be all set.
I’ve got some exciting Halloween DIY’s for you, that I will start posting around the middle of September so there will be plenty of time for making…I’ll probably start decorating our own house for Halloween on my birthday later this month, I never wait for the month of October.
Happy Labor Day! Mine will be filled with an afternoon of sewing, but then taking off early since we have a big family dinner planned for this evening.
