I got it in my head that I wanted to make a bunch of leggings for my Blythe dolls, so I created a yard of fabric to be printed on knit fabric
. 40 different squares for polka dot, stripe, chevron, and one or two small print patterns. I have made two pairs so far (winging a pattern) and I am still trying to get an exact pattern down. At least I have plenty of fabric to work with! You can see my attempts here

I got my sister a Blythe doll for Christmas (not this one, she belongs to me) but her excitement over her new gal Piper (see she’s way better at this, her girl is already named and everything) has me excited to get out my dolls again. I’ve been sewing and knitting some outerwear for them as we had a few snow days and it seemed like the perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon.
My poor Blythe girls have been sadly neglected. They don’t even have proper names yet (and there is 3 of them when you count my littlest pet shop gal and I do) So I’m planning to make them a better place to live then the small suitcase where they currently reside.
I have also been attempting to make them some more clothing, but I haven’t found a pattern that I just love. I have a handful of badly made & unfinished dresses right now, a few store made doll clothes, and one knit sweater.
I know there are a million amazing Blythe clothes makers out there, but I am some times a very stubborn DIY lady, and I really want to make some myself. Since I am not quite ready to give up, do you have any links you want to share?
