I had a swatch sampler of my Tattoo Flowers fabric
that I had not done anything with so I decided to cut it up and create a fast little quilt.
Now that I have it laid out I decided to add some solid colored kona cotton to the mix. I’m still decided on just the right colors to mix in.
Just a heads up that Spoonflower
is offering free shipping until 9am EDT Friday March 18th. Standard shipping on all Spoonflower orders will be completely free! There are no restrictions, no minimum order size required, and no maximum limit. Offer applies to US and non-US destinations, so its a great time to buy!
I’ve started work on a little quilt using “square in square” foundation piecing
, and my honey tea fabric
I’ve been purchasing foundation paper from Joann
(its on sale right now for $5 for a pack of 25) I run it through my printer, and then I don’t need to tear anything away after sewing, like you do when you foundation piece with paper. I’m still deciding just how big to make this quilt. I really need more quilts I can cuddle with instead of little mini-quilts for my wall, so I am leaning toward something big.
