Sewing Stuff

I’ve been working on a few lap quilts to use as gifts this Christmas. The first one I made using half square triangles and lots of my cotton & steel fabric stash. The second I used a bunch of blues from my stash and started a rising star quilt, I messed up the second star and decided to just go with it. Creating a quilt that has stars and + signs.
Both quilt tops are done, now to just figure out the back fabric and quilt them up. My hope to is finish at least 4 quilts for gifts, so it will be nice to have 2 down.
Do you have a favorite quilt pattern that is fast and easy? My go-to is foundation piecing but I do feel it is time consuming and since I need these done in time for Christmas I am looking for quilt patterns that are on the faster side.
