Black Phillip Cookies

Nothing says Merry Christmas quite like goat cookies from a movie about witches, am I right? Last week while in Target I stumbled upon this goat cookie cutter. It’s part of their new Hearth & Home line, and because of the color immediately brought to mind Black Phillip from the movie The VVitch.
We have a friend who really loves this movie, and he has a black Christmas tree, so goat cookies from a movie about witches is actually a perfect Christmas gift for him, and maybe someone you know too?

The cookies are simply a dark chocolate cut out cookie. Now you could add sprinkles or dip the tops into chocolate, but I found if you use a high quality chocolate power you won’t need anything on top. I used the recipe found here. Only I used flour to cut them out and the flour wasn’t noticeable after baking.

Package up some cookies in a clear bag with a topper, tie on a goat cookie cutter and there you go!
